Please accept my sincere condolences. The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. The words quoted at Isaiah 25:8 have comforted me greatly. It reads :"He(God) will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” May you find hope and comfort in knowing that, soon, by means of God's Kingdom, no one will ever fall prey of this merciless ‘enemy’(1 Corinthians 15:26).

Dearest Jackie, Chrissy. Caroline, Mike and the entire family.
I am so sorry for the loss of Rocco. He was one of the kindest, sweetest men I have ever known. I am truly fortunate to have had him in my life. A second father to me with equal parts humor and wisdom in his guidance, always a hug when I needed one and selfless in his generosity. he was truly one of a kind.
Having recently lost my father, I understand how difficult the loss is. I hope the sorrow passes and the happy memories and funny stories sustain you at those times you deeply miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Respectfully Submitted,
Goodie

At a time when most of my experience was with female teachers, I entered Windham High School and was a student of Rocco Cancellaro and Ron Murphy. They were both such great male role models. Humor and humility was abundant in their classrooms. Rocco was a truly great guy, as a teacher, neighbor, and friend to all. May his family know how well he was thought of in the community, then and now. With sympathy and prayers for his family.

My sincere condolences to the Cancellaro Family with the passing of Rocco. I got to know Rocco over 35 years ago through his involvement with and support of the Windham Special Olympics Swim Meet. I will miss his smile, his jokes (always ready with a funny quip to elicit laughs), his easy going nature and his ability to always see solutions to problems. He was a good man. He lived a good life. He made a difference. He will be missed. ❤️

My condolences to the family. Rocco was the longtime official scorer at Windham High School basketball home games. It was a wonderful night back in 1988 that Rocco was willing to give an encore performance at our 1st Alumni night returning to the bench after many years of retirement. It would not have been the same glorious night without him. In my mind's eye, I can still see that beautiful, vivid style of handwriting he filled those scorebooks with for many, many years. We were fortunate he touched our lives. A wonderful man indeed. Rest in Peace Rocco.

I was saddened to see Mr. Cancellaro’s passing. He was my favorite teacher I ever had. His excellent sense of humor made science class a great place to be. As a teacher today, I carry that important message in my heart, and try to always impart a sense of humor even when it feels almost impossible. I know all those that he has ever had any dealings with are better for it., and will smile when they think of him.
Sincerely Nora (Rose) Ronnau
