Barbara,
I am very sorry Rob died. He was a very good friend to me and a good person period. I miss him very much. I enjoyed talking about music with him and when I lived in the building with him, playing music for him on my stereo. I am sorry I missed the funeral but I would enjoy talking about Rob with you. My phone number would have been on one of the papers in his apt. or if you lost it, email me and I will give it to you. Rob always spoke highly of you and he greatly appreciated your help. Best wishes, Jesse Hickelton

To Barbara and Michael and Debbie, I don't know if you remember me, but I remember Rob like yesterday, and of course I saw him once in a while in his post-cycling / post-triathlon days. Fond memories for me, and he was quite younger than me, but when we cycled and ran, I worked my tail off to keep up with him, and at some point, I learned he was doing the same to stay with his elder pal. But the thing I most want to share. "I fight authority, authority always wins." John Mellancamp, I think. That was our theme song when we rode together, and whenever I hear it -- or find myself singing it out loud, to everyone's pain nearby -- I think of Rob. So so sorry to hear this news, and my sincere sympathy to you all. I would have stopped up, but I'm at a family thing. My best. Peter Leeds

Aunt Barbara, Debbie & Michael, So sorry for your loss. No words that anyone could say can take away the sting of death of a loved one who was taken much too early. I pray that the peace of God will comfort you in knowing one day you’ll be united with your loved one! May God bless your family with happy memories of your times with him!

Barb,
There simply aren’t words for this. We all know and expect that someday we will loose parents, spouses and siblings but not children. My heart goes out to you, Bevin and Robs brothers and sisters. Please, if there is anyway that I can make things easier for you let me know.
