I remember the first day of kindergarten meeting Richard for the first time. A friendship that would last a life time. We went from kindergarten to being a senior in high school, graduating together, joining the Air Force on the same day to head to Texas for basic training.
In later years mine and Richard's love for genealogy led us to find out that we are 8th cousins, a fact unknown to any of us.Maybe that's the reason we could pick right back up in conversation like we'd always been neighbors.

This is a Guy I will never forget. He helped me get through empty times during the vet war. With out you and Joyce I would not have made it. Joyce I will be home in October.

Dear Joyce and family, I am so saddened to hear of Richard's passing. I have so many fond memories of the Morrison family. Richard & I always seemed to buddy up on the Elementary School playground (even had nicknames for each other)...my friend Wayne in my class...Sue another High School friend...Mom (lovely lady) bringing critters into our classroom for all to enjoy...Marilyn, John & Gloria around town and more recently I especially enjoyed our brief chats and/or friendly waves during the time Richard delivered my paper or passed the house...and the delightful times I visited the Ice Cream Shop in Norwich...such fun memories...remember: no one you love is ever gone, for they live on in your heart...and Richard and the Morrison family members live on in my heart. Sincere condolences to all.

you were a amazing and caring man uncle Richard. You included me in the family and kept me up to date. I Will miss you and my condolences go out to Joyce and your family.rest in peace and say hi to grammy and grampy . LOVE Selina lee morrison walker. I will never forget you. you were a gift to me.
