Dear jeff and family, we were so sorry to hear of the news. Our greatest sympathies to everyone. Joyce was a unigue individual and an asset to everyone in columbia and everyone that new her. We will miss her very much.

Joyce was my best friend at UConn. 60 years ago. We had many adventures and shared many confidences and political beliefs. As I traveled the world as a foreign service officer, she bloomed where she was planted. She was a free spirit who was amazingly generous and caring with her multitude of friends. She kept our college group in touch with each other, even organizing a reunion in Orlando. I loved her dearly and offer my deep condolences to Jeff, Andres, Mayra, all the Holbrook clan and her many friends.

Dear Jeff and family, Our hearts are broken with the loss of Joyce. What an amazing person and friend.
She has been such a big part of my family for 63 yrs. What wonderful memories we shared and she will be missed more then words can express

dear jeff and to the Holbrook family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time joyce was a wonderful person and wonderful friend to our entire family and she was always there when my mom or dad needed her when we had a family issue to take care of with no questions asked . my mom worked with joyce and Gloria for many years with Turf and enjoyed it so much. we will always be here for jeff and the Holbrook family. with much love and respect mary john George wendy and Jennifer, evans

So sorry to hear of her passing. Joyce and my mom Sheila were great friends. In all my years of schooling, she was was my favorite teacher.

This is such a sad day. Joyce was like no one else. She was always there for me - such an amazing friend. We shared so much throughout our lives since the days our children were in nursery school. I will miss her so much.
