Dearest Michelle & Donna,
I was thinking about your Dad. After a little searching I found his obituary and the tears rolled down my cheeks. It was amazing growing up with your family as friends. Our parents were like the Ricardo’s and the Mertz’s. So much fun to be around. Fond memories of being neighbors on Pleasant street, the store and of course the motel on Rte 6.
I just know they are all hanging out in the Heavens having a ball.
May you Dad rest peacefully

I first met Bert and Claire, when Zi worked at Papa Gino's, and then always saw him at Willi Bowl. Bert was one of a kind! Always joking, and had a heart of gold!! He treated everyone with respect! I will miss seeing him at Kohl's, where he would sit in the chairs up front and chat with me, while Dottie shopped. Godspeed Bert!! Tell those jokes in heaven!
