I was so sorry to hear of Chick's passing. I, and my family, had known him for many years. And, I was very blessed that he had been my Godfather. Chick will be missed by everyone who had known him. He will, always, be in our hearts. Marjorie, Joan and Tom Laboy

I already miss the morning calls I received from Chick. We spent many hours talking on the phone the last few years since we moved to florida. Every Christmas we would come back to visit and bring him cookies and laughs. Praying Vilma and the rest of his family have strength to get through this difficult time. He will be missed.

Mark, Steven and family, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Uncle Chick was a very special man, there was no one like him. His hugs were so strong yet warm and safe, he had a booming laugh that I will miss and never forget. He has a very special place in my heart I can't believe he is gone, he's always been my gentle giant. I have a lot of fond memories of him from my childhood that I will cherish forever. Uncle Chick looked at you two as his sons and loved you very much, thank you for loving and caring for him. Sincerely Diana Tabor Evans

Chick you were always there for us. Always keeping an eye on the house from the moment we started building next to you. Always letting the kids have a mondo juice drink or ice pops. The phone calls we traded in the last few months meant the world. We love you and will miss you so much.

Charles, you know you were always special in our hearts, from the time you first gave Brian that soda until the last time we saw you at Eastertime. You know how we felt and that will never change. Our hearts are broken because were unable to say goodbye in a proper way. Until we meet again my friend, love you ALWAYS.
