Austin was the lite of so many people and I was so lucky to get a chance to know him better in class this past school year. We worked together one on one practicing speech and reading and we had so much fun in doing it ! He loved to pick out a new library book each week !
Codi met Austin when she became friends with Cayla their freshman year at EO Smith and they played Basketball together. Codi remembers Austin as a fun and kind brother.

Austin always had a smile on his face and kind words for all. Everyone was his friend and he touched all of those he met. While his life was short, it was full and well lived. My deepest sympathies to his family.

For someone who was so inspirational and extraordinary you were also so "ordinary"... a typical fun loving, joking boy with a great sense of humor. I knew Austin when my son Noah was in middle and high school, more so in middle school. He was such a kind, sweet young man with a good sense of humor, I remember he was always happy. Noah always had a nice story to tell about him. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you are surrounded by sweet and loving memories.
