I know that my free spirited love and friend is at peace I watched his pain and struggle with cancer.But he was always looking to a better day when he could enjoy cooking for friends and family at his lake that he loved so much. I will always remember his joy of life getting up each day ready to find something fun and interesting to fill his time. Ray did live life hard and fast with many exciting experiences. MY heart is heavy and I will miss him each day of my life. But I will remember him forever32

As you mourn the loss of your father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, reflect on all the beautiful memories that you shared together over the years. Your memories together are only on "pause" for a brief time. Almighty God will soon hit the "play" button, as he longs to reunite you once again very soon in a beautiful Paradise new world. You can have great faith in that promise and many others because God cannot lie!
Isaiah 26:19 says: "Your dead will live.My corpses will rise up.Awake and shout joyfully,You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning,And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life."
With the recent loss of my beloved grandpa, the promises from God's word helped to ease the pain in my heart. I hope they can do the same for you. This link shares a wonderful video that will fill you with hope. Enjoy:

May you find comfort in the promise that "... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" (Acts 24:15), and very soon "... no resident will say, 'I am sick'" (Isa. 33:24) because "... death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:4)
