as a friend of my dad's ("Archie"), Fred had a lasting impact on both my brother and myself. His passing truly marks the end of an Era for us. We both admired his love of the great outdoors and his rugged individualism. And we will forever miss his wit, stories and sharp card playing at the monthly poker games.

"Uncle" Ted will be missed among all that knew him. We loved listening to his stories and his infectious way he told them. He drew you in. Whether it was about hunting or stories from his service, they never got old and he left you wanting more. He was my dad's cousin but more like a brother. May you all find peace in the memories you shared with him as I cherish mine. Until we meet again Uncle Ted..... All my love.

Sorry for the loss of a great person who guided me thru the last 10 years of my career as his Bureau of Law Enforcement Training Officer: A tough but fair boss, who allowed me the freedom to write and establish training programs for the DEP Law Enforcement unit:
He was the last supervisor I had before my retirement in 1993. I loved this man and his management style> He fought to get the Law Enforcement unit under his command, as law Enforcement was under the control of regional Directors>
He & assistance Chief Buyak established military Ranks in our law enforcement Unit and he made the unit one of the best trained units in the Northeast: He is truly a great loss to conservation law Enforcement>
