She was one of the best teachers I ever had. I considered her a friend and mentor in High School. She had a great sense of humor and a keen wit. I'm glad thet I had the chance to visit with her in the late 1980s. I stopped by to let her know how much I appreciated her. Rest in Peace Mrs. T.

Apologies for the belated condolences, Jim. Not sure if you remember me. I was one of Eunice’s students at Granada and we all met up a few times on New York when I was a grad student in English lit at NYU.

In high school Eunice said, “If I find out any of you want to be a teacher I will fail you so you have another year to think about your life.” She was my favorite teacher in high school and didn’t end up flunking me. She truly sparked my lifelong long of lit and inspired me to go to grad school

Sorry to hear about Eunice's passing. I knew her from her days as a substitute teacher at E.O. Smith, Mrs. Teague, and being friends with her son Mark. She certainly had a fiery personality and I personally saw that first hand sitting next to her at a dinner party years ago. My jaw is still feeling the effects of a right cross, albeit all in good fun. Rest in peace, Eunice.
