We were so very deeply saddened to learn that Bonnie died. She was extraordinary in so many different ways, especially to me. Of all the Naumec-Hicks children, I always felt closest to Bonnie. I consider it a privilege to have called her friend and we shall always feel the loss of not seeing her here with us again.

Dear family, Bonnie and I have been talking online for years. She was so dear to me and I was so so proud that even though my association with the family was broken, we still considered ourselves cousins. I loved her for her strength, sense of humor and her love of family. I am going to miss her so very much. May God grant you peace and comfort during this time.

My dearest cousin, companion of so many romps in Nana´s back yard during those golden years, our comically disastrous debut together on our first roller skates, you letting me play hairdresser with your beautiful golden curls, watching you fearless and so skilled water skiing on Lake Williams both on your own and standing on your father´s shoulders, such wonderful memories. People are divided between givers and takers, and you were a giver, as well as a tower of strength. I can´t express how much I will miss you.

Bonnie you will be missed by so many I will miss our chats and that visit when you brought all you extra yarn so I could make hats and scarfs for the Veterns such a loving giving person. You were my angel when I was in need. All the times we talked and shared our troubles with each other, and you had far more than anyone ever needed in your life. I walked the beach yesterday for you because I know how much you loved the beach,and I talked to you as I know you heard me! My life will be so much less without my wonderful friend to talk to, Bonnie you are an angel sent here to care for so many that couldn't care for themselves.
