Aunt Franny, Brenda, Marsha, Carla, Ronnie, Chris, (God Bless you Neil), Mark and Paul, My family and I are all thinking of you and wishing uncle Sage Peace on his journey Home. All of your are forever imbedded in our memories of childhood, holidays, especially at Thanksgivings, and just watching our older cousins Graduate, go to college, get married and have children. I think, at times you never know who is observing you, but we were the younger cousins that got to watch you all grow up and become successful professionals like your parents. You were all so beautiful and handsome, we were like, they have it all, Big house, successful parents, the looks, the brains.......seriously in awe.......We felt so lucky to have such a big family that all liked each other. I am so sorry that I will be missing your dads funeral, having just spend several weeks at home for my dads funeral, and living in GA make it difficult to physically get there. Please know that I am there in spirit and I will miss seeing you all terribly. Was nice to see you Marsha and Chris when I was home. Your fathers obituary was just beautiful. His legacy will be remembered by a lot of people as he was so active in the community and touch so many lives both in our country and in his home country. It was always pretty cool meeting people from India at thanksgiving. A small piece of culture that we had little access to in our small town. Be well everyone, hold on to the most special parts of your dad and know that those special parts will continue to live with each one of you. I took my dads watch home with me and it sits on my wash stand. I love looking at it each morning and remembering him. Each of you find that something that your dad had that will bring a smile to your face and warm your heart when you look at it. It helps to keep the memories front and center. God Bless you all, Michelle

My sympathy is extended to the Sikand family at this sorrowful time.

I knew Dr. Sikand in the work setting and as a patient. He was gentle, kind and respectful, always.

Sage stayed in touch with his retired friends and colleagues and was the first to visit someone who was ill. He wanted to be sure everyone was "ok" and that their needs were met. This included long distance friends as well. Surely it continued on until he no longer could do so.

I have dear thoughts of Dr. Sikand. May he now Rest In Peace.

Condolences, Love and prayers to my wonderful cousins and Aunt Frances! This time of year always brings such fond memories of our Thanksgivings together at the "Sikand" home! The poker games, football games, crafts provided by Aunt Marge but most of all the love and laughter that filled the house! Uncle Sage will forever be in my heart and in my memories! Love to all!

Dear Fran and Family,

I have wonderful memories of our times on July 4th and New Year's Eve, and our children growing up together. It is through our children and their children and their children and the generations to come that our legacy is left. Sage leaves a very rich legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

With my sympathy,

Sheila Amdur

I met Sage some 42 years ago when he hired me to sell some land of his on Mullen Hill Road in Windham Center. Over the years he was a member of the Willimantic Rotary Club with me until his health forced him to retire. He was very smart and likeable. He will be missed.

Dear aunt Fran and family,
I remember my dad, Late Mohinder Sikand telling us that he along with a friend stayed with you all for couple of days long time back. He had mentioned that he took a detour to visit you all and then flew back to India from NYC. He had such good memories of his time at your place.

Vandna, my wife and our son Kush and daughter Neha join me in sending you our condolences. We pray for the peace of departed soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
