Roger G. St. Jean

Roger Gerard St. Jean, 59, of Andover, beloved husband for 27 years of Georgette St. Jean, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in his home after a brave battle with cancer.  Born in Hartford CT, on August 26, 1958, son of the late Roland and Cecile (Masse) St. Jean.  Roger was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Coventry where he served as a member of the Knights of Columbus for over ten years.  He was always first to offer a helping hand when anyone was in need.  His heart of gold and his ability to fill a room with smiles and laughter will be greatly missed.  He was a family man who loved every minute spent with his immediate and extended family. A lover of dogs, he leaves his dog Belle who he enjoyed bringing around town as his co-pilot.  He joins his late sister Rolande St. Jean in heaven. Besides his wife, he leaves his two sons, Joseph St. Jean and his fiancé Gina Ricci as well as his adored grandson Mason St. Jean of Ledyard, CT; Jacob St. Jean of Andover, CT; his daughter Cecile St. Jean of Norwalk CT; his Step-mom, Bertha St. Jean of Fort Kent, ME; his siblings; Ralph St. Jean and wife Leslie; sister Rena Tetlow and husband Doug; sister Diane Belling and husband David; brother Rodney St. Jean and wife Becky; sister Michelle Beaulieu and husband Dan. as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved with all his heart.  Roger’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday March 25, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic.  His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday March 26, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church in Coventry, burial to follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, in Bloomfield.
