Rest in peace Mrs. Palmer and God bless you. I have fond memories from our 4th grade Windham Center class from all the way back in 1979-80. You had a piano in the classroom and taught us to play. I can't stop but think of you whenever I come across a piano and experiment with a tune.

I am deeply sadden by the passing of Mrs. Palmer. Tears really do come to my eyes as I try to leave this message. Words fail me. I remember so many great things about both Mrs. Palmer and her husband.

I remember car loads of flowers from her garden that she used to create the court of Pomona.

I'm a better person for knowing her.

May God Bless and you all.

Mrs. Palmer inspired my love of reading and science at a very young age. Her contest to collect spring flowers was a great way to stimulate a budding interest in biology and a love of nature. Condolences to her family.

Jim and family, my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother and grandmother. Mrs. Palmer was my wonderful first grade teacher who started my love of school and perennial flowers. Last fall when my mother entered Douglas Manor, I was delighted to learn that she resided across the hall. She was still alert and remembered my sisters and me even though 60 years had passed. Mrs. Palmer personified great teaching...

I'm so glad to have met Florence. I helped her learn to play her organ, and she continuously taught those around her about the things she loved-teaching, gardening. She often brought us flowers beautifully grown from her garden, which she shared with myself, my children and my former husband Adrian Muir. She will surely be missed-rest in eternal peace amongst the beautiful flowers Florence.

Mrs. Palmer was my fourth grade teacher. She was a strong influence on my love of nature. Of the many teachers I had over the years she is one I remember best. I recall the giant puffball she kept on top of the piano in the back of her classroom and I still have the little ceramic cat I won for second place in her annual flower collection contest that year. My condolences to the Palmer family.
