It is with great sadness that I heard of Dr. Bartram's passing. Dr. Bartram was a great teacher and mentor. He served on my Ph.D. committee and attended my wedding in Vermont. He served as an example to me throughout my career. He was always a great leader and teacher and will be missed.

Professor Bartram was a dedicated teacher and a noted physicist. He taught me in five graduate courses, served on my thesis advisory committee, and helped shape my academic career as an avid mentor. I will cherish his memory and miss receiving his greeting cards. May he rest in peace! Om shanti!

I worked in the main office at the Physics Department and did a lot of your dad's typing/computer work for him. He was a wonderful man and I enjoyed working with him and sharing stories with him. We bought a pop-up camper from him and knew it was a well taken care of unit if he own it! We enjoyed it for years. He was funny, thoughtful, and kind. Please accept my condolences for your loss.
