Chris, I was dismayed and beartbroken when I heard of Carol's death. We were friends in high school and have remained friends ever since. I will miss her cheerful Christmas and birthday cards where she took advantage of every white space on the cards to tell me a year's worth of news in tiny print. My condolences to you and Pat.

Chris, I was saddened to read about your mother's passing. I know that you loved and cared for her very much and how much you must miss her. Her obituary is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful lady. Peace to you.

Dear Chris,
You and your mother are in our thoughts and prayers. Your mother's faith life is an inspiration to us all. Despite her health problems, she was always so cheerful whenever I visited her from the Visitation Committee all those years ago.
