We will miss Uncle Bruce very much. We have had some fun times over the years. Andrea and I send also our Love out to the family in this time of loss. I have located a poem that describes the role of Uncles and we are blessed because we have many.
Uncles have a special role. Not being our father, they can be a friend and a supporter in a different way than anyone else in our lives. They are both a relative and a companion; one of the few people able to be both. Whether they are crazy and weird and only seen at holidays or our fishing buddy and mentor, the loss of an uncle is a particularly hard one. Their loss, however, is filled with the years of happy memories we had, and that special connection that belongs only to uncles.

Kenny and family, we are so sorry for the loss of your brother, Bruce. Whenever we saw him at Nina's, we always had some good conversations. It was quite a shock when we read that he passed away. May you keep all your memories of him close to your heart.

Deeply saddened to learn Bruce Shirshac has passed away. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of a beloved uncle. We were fortunate to have Uncle Bruce in attendance at our wedding. Even though we only met a few times, they were special occasions and are fondly remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Bruce and the friends and family he leaves behind. God bless.
