Obituary
Vivian Hope (Johnson) Angell, 101, of Columbia, CT, wife of E. Leonard Angell, passed away on August 23, 2023 at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn, CT.
She was born in Sterling, CT, on February 1, 1922, to the late William and Cora (Babcock) Johnson. Vivian graduated from Plainfield High School, class of 1940.
Vivian and Len were married on September 16, 1947. They welcomed a son, Douglas, in 1949, and a daughter, Diane, in 1955. They moved into their home in Columbia in 1957. Sadly, Len passed away in 1988.
Vivian was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her loving daughter Diane Brais of Brooklyn, CT; her two cherished grandsons, Ryan Brais and his wife Stacy of Brooklyn, CT, and Aaron Brais and his wife Christine and their son Colton Denis Brais of Columbia, CT.
She was predeceased by her husband E. Leonard, her son Douglas, and her son-in-law Denis Brais and six siblings.
Burial will be private.
