Thomas N. Livingston III

Thomas Nelson Livingston III, 68, of Columbia, CT born on April 19, 1951 passed away on August 12, 2019. We are very saddened by this loss but find peace that he is no longer suffering.

Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA and after attending Roman Catholic high school he enlisted in the Navy where he served as a corpsman. He then attended Penn State as well as Springfield Technical College and began a career as an orthotist, specializing in adaptive seating. 
Tom resided in Columbia, CT with the love of his life, Jill. His love for all things Philly never waned, especially the sports teams. Tom had a great sense of humor, was a lover of all animals and loved music of all kinds.

He is predeceased by his loving mother figure, Dorothy White, his father Thomas Nelson Livingston II, and his mother Loretta Westervelt.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jill along with their fish and dogs, Buddy and Legend; his children Tim Livingston of Shelton, CT, Jessica Morris and son-in-law Robert Morris of South Burlington, VT; Stacy Nielsen and son-in-law Timm Nielsen of Damascus, Oregon; Sarah Dubois and son-in-law Chris Dubois of South Windsor, CT; his grandchildren Sean Dubois, Josie Nielsen, Natalie Dubois, Ava Nielsen and Avery Dubois. He is also survived by his sister Lori Livingston, his former wife Cathy Beatty as well as his close cousin Billy White among many other cousins, friends and relatives that will miss him.
