Terrance Corcoran Obituary

Terrance Scott Corcoran, 73 of Longmont Colorado passed away Wednesday, October 13 at Longmont Hospital. He was the oldest son of Joseph Francis Corcoran (deceased) and Hazel Irene James, 98. He was born in Windham Memorial Community Hospital on November 1, 1947 in Willimantic, Connecticut. Terry was a graduate of Edwin O Smith High School and Eastern Connecticut University. Terry was a faithful member at HOPEWELL Baptist church. He was involved the Jail ministry, bus ministry, song leader and Sunday School and Bible Study, and he was an ordained pastor. He was a great father to three step sons Patrick Short, Eric Short and wife Megan Short & Eldon Short. He left a brother Randy James Corcoran, wife Deborah Corcoran in Mansfield, CT and a sister Penelope Corcoran from Storrs, CT.

Terry and his wonderful wife Song had four grandchildren Adrian Short, 18; Bailey Short, 17; Brandon Short, 13; Madison Short, 12. He also left 2 nieces Kelsey Corcoran Solecki of Dennis Beach Cape Cod and Katlin LaBarre of Manchester CT. and a nephew Joseph Francis Corcoran of Plainfield CT.

Terry had such a big warm heart. He always had time to listen and advise. If you needed something he was there for you. Terry was a lifetime Red Sox fan along with other various sports and teams. He was a track and field, and soccer player at E.O. Smith. He was on 3 different baseball teams that played at Rec Park in Willimantic. His nickname was Too Too because he always wore number 22. He ran like the wind and put his all into everything he did.

He is now at peace and free. He was much loved by all and will be missed.

A funeral service for Terrance will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church, 1146 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the New Willimantic Cemetery (Rt. 32), Willimantic, CT.
