Rose (Savino) Cochran

Rose Mary Cochran passed away peacefully Monday, January 30, 2023 at the age of 99. Rose was born August 18, 1923 to Joseph and Rose Savino, in Bronx, NY.  At a young age, she moved to Scotland, CT where she resided until her marriage to Russell Cochran. They made their home in Windham until Russell’s passing in 1989.  Rose worked at Electro-Motive Manufacturing Company, Kendall Corp, and then for the Town of Windham until her retirement.

Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by husband, Russell Cochran; brother, Nicholas Savino; sister, Lucretia (Grace) Barber; granddaughter, Janet Cochran; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Cochran.

She is survived by her son, Robert “Vinnie” Cochran and her great granddaughter, Autumn Rose.

There will be no calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 99 Jackson Street, Willimantic; Burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Club Road, Willimantic.
