Robert W. McClintock

Robert McClintock, 92, passed away April 27, 2023 at Windham Hospital. He was born October 10, 1930, to the late Warren and Anna (Roberts) McClintock.

Robert enjoyed so many things in life including annual gatherings with family, birthday and Father’s Day breakfasts with his daughters, watching the New England Patriots, The Boston Red Sox and UCONN Basketball. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends playing pool at the local senior centers.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Emma (Troy) Plourde of Willimantic, CT, Debra (Wayne) Newbury of FL, Karen (Mike) Credit of Central Village, CT, his son, Ronald McClintock of SC, 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by Lois (Lee) his wife of 64 years, sons Robert McClintock, Donald McClintock, his daughter Maryann McClintock, and his grandsons Travis Vertefeuille and James Cyr.

His daughter Emma would like to extend a special thank you to his grandchildren Raymond Vertefeuille, Crystal McClintock, Jen and her husband Graig Stevens for all the help they gave her caring for him in his last years. The family would also like to thank Ruthanne Richards, who was like a daughter to Robert, for all of her support.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00pm at The American Legion, 339 Brick Top Rd, Willimantic, CT 06226. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
