Ramon Luis Pantoja Jr., 37 of Norwich CT passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021. Born in Willimantic, CT on July 12th, 1983 to Marisol Gonzalez and Ramon Luis Pantoja Sr. of Willimantic CT.
Ramon graduated from Windham High School in 2001 and was employed by Eastern Connecticut State University as a landscape technician. He had many hobbies that changed weekly which included fishing, golfing, building bird houses, and playing video games to name a few. Ramon had a passion for clean cars, and nicely cut lawns. His life was dedicated to spending time with his family. Ramon had a unique personality and was known for being loud, animated, and long winded.
He is survived by the love of his life, Megan Schnitzler, his children Reagan, Xander and Leighton Pantoja, his mother and her partner, Marisol Gonzalez and David Oliver-Diaz, his father, Ramon Luis Pantoja Sr., his brother and his partner, Anfernee Santiago and Chelsea Trudeau, his nephew Carter Santiago, his godparents, Luis and Luz DeJesus, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
Ramon is predeceased by his grandmother, Victoria Lamboy, and his uncles.
Ramon’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT. Funeral services beginning at 10:00am on Friday April 30, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery on Club Road in Windham.
