Pasquale De Sciscio Obituary

Pasquale De Sciscio, 83, of Willimantic, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and pillar of the community, passed away on March 12, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 20, 1940, in Volturara Appula, Italy, Pasquale was the epitome of hard work, craftsmanship, and family devotion.

In 1971, Pasquale embarked on a journey to the United States, settling in Willimantic, CT, where he established his own masonry business. His dedication to his craft and his commitment to excellence earned him respect and admiration throughout the community. His sons, inspired by his work ethic and passion, continued the family tradition, ensuring his legacy lives on for generations to come.

Pasquale was a devoted family man, survived by his three children: Marianna Heon, Salvatore De Sciscio, and Dino Luca De Sciscio, along with their respective spouses, Marc Heon and Karen De Sciscio. He cherished his grandchildren, Antonella De Sciscio, Giovanna De Sciscio, and Scarlett Heon and took immense pride in their accomplishments.  He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews, who will remember him fondly for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Pasquale found solace and joy in his garden, where he cultivated an array of fruit trees and shared his bounty with all who knew him. His passion for winemaking was equally renowned, and his homemade wine gatherings became cherished occasions for friends and family alike.

Pasquale's magnetic personality and storytelling prowess endeared him to all who crossed his path. His anecdotes, though familiar, never failed to captivate and entertain. He was a man of strong faith, attending church regularly and demonstrating unwavering devotion to God.

Pasquale was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Antonietta De Sciscio, with whom he shared many cherished memories and a lifetime of love. He was also predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Marianna De Sciscio, as well as his siblings, Antonio De Sciscio, Michele De Sciscio, and Maria Sanita De Sciscio.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Joseph's Living Center in Windham, CT, where Pasquale received compassionate care during his final days. His family is forever grateful for the support and comfort provided by the staff.

Though Pasquale's earthly journey has come to an end, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of hard work, generosity, faith, and love will forever be cherished and celebrated.
