Pablo Guzman Cubi, 19 1/2 years old (according to him), 79, of Willimantic, earned his wings on Christmas Eve. He was born in Puerto Rico and lived his early years in New York until 1973. Pablo was a man of faith, family and hard work. He worked at Windham Hospital and the Rogers Corporation. Aside from his hard work, Pablo was known for his sense of humor, love of family, his charm and big heart. He had a smile that could light up a room and a joke in his back pocket. His hobbies include gardening, tending to his chickens and cooking out. Pablo was surely the life of the party and a master of dominos. Most of all, he was a loving husband to Ana Luisa, a father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, neighbor and a super hero (to some). His lifetime achievement was his family. Pablo’s work ethic, kindness and unconditional love are all parts of his legacy. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, his parish and community. To know him was to love him. We will love you forever. Rest in peace. Pablo’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 9:00am to 11:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30pm at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
