Norman H. Lee

Norman H. Lee (60), born November 4, 1960, passed away peacefully at Windham Hospital on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Norman was the son of Ellen ( Melvin) Lee of Willimantic, CT and the late Joseph Lee.

Norman enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, working on various landscaping projects and his time as a Chef at Oliver’s Dairy Bar & Grill. He especially enjoyed his frequent visits to Block Island where he would spend the majority of the day on the beach with his partner and sisters. Phone calls with friends and family was a favorite pastime of Norman as he alway looked forward to catching up on everyone’s lives. Norman always looked forward to camping in the Poconos as often as possible.

Norman is survived by his significant other, Daniel Haggett, daughter Kristen Merrill and husband Ray, son Nicholas Lee, brother Jack Lee and wife Darlene, brother Larry Lee and Sue, brother Thomas Lee and Tracy, brother Robert Lee, sister Nancy Robinson and Gary, sister Patricia Lang, sister Donna McMahon and Brent, sister Cindy Lee, and sister Tina Lee. Norman is also survived by his grandchildren: Aidan, Audrey, Nathan, Noah, and Avery, and 20 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Lee and sister Sandra Dailey.

A Memorial Service will be held for Norman on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 3:00pm at the Christian Life Assembly Church, 143 Windham Road, ( Rt 32), Willimantic, CT.
