Nancy was born on December 3, 1930 in Cleveland Ohio. Her family moved to West Hartford in 1949. She graduated from Old Hall High School in 1951, and then attended Dean Junior College in Franklin Mass. While on a college girls ski trip to North Conway NH, she met and fell in love with Guy C. Nancy and Guy were engaged in 1953 and married on May 22, 1954. They lived in Columbia CT where Nancy was a stay at home Mom, raising four children. As a family they traveled much of the United States. Nancy developed a love for National Parks and the Southwest US.

In 1970, Nancy attended the UConn Teacher’s Aide program, and worked for Hebron Elementary School as a Teacher’s Aide/Librarian Aide until 1987 when she retired. Nancy and Guy then traveled the US, settling in the Southwest in Green Valley AZ. They lived there until the late 90’s, and returned to CT to be closer to their growing family and grandchildren.

After Guy’s passing in 2000, Nancy lived in Windham CT. She enjoyed traveling abroad with her family. She became active in the First Congregational Church in the Willimantic Interfaith Sewing Group for the benefit of children in Haiti and spent time at the Chaplin Senior Center where she really enjoyed Wii Bowling.
