Several years ago I was thinking of quitting a political discussion group that was disintegrating into bickering, and then Mary joined us. What a difference she made! Although we were on opposite sides I will never forget her thoughtful questions and responses, her honesty, openness, warmth, candor, and friendliness. I missed her when she moved to Texas. I feel honored to have known her and I treasure her memory.

John, Michael and Maureen,
The happy memories of Willington and time spent with your family all came flooding back today upon hearing the news of your Mom's passing. Sheryl and I want to express our deepest sympthaties to your family. May the memories of our Mom's having their "Motherly" discussions over our mischievous deeds bring back and serve to make permanent the memories of the love, care, and devotion we were so fortunate to have bestowed upon us and in honor of and in homage to hope to pass on.

Mary was my college classmate. I so enjoyed her presence in my life.
My sincere sympathy to all. Unfortunately I will be away at the time of her
funeral in CT. I am having a Mass offered for her in my parish when I return.
