Obituary

Martin R. Seymour, 64, of Columbia, CT passed away on January 30, 2020. Born in Huntington, NY, December 22, 1955 to Connie (DiTullio) and the late Russell Seymour.  The family moved to Connecticut in 1969.  Martin graduated from Adelphi University with a BA in Psychology in 1978.  A favorite hobby since he was a boy; photography became his life’s work.  For many years he worked in New York City as a freelance photographer and worked with world renowned photographer Norman Parkinson.  Martin joined ECSU in 1997 as a University Assistant and later became an Adjunct Professor where he taught Photography and Publication Design.  He enjoyed and received great pleasure and satisfaction teaching his students.
