Mark W. Easton, 66, of Willimantic, went to the “spirit in the sky” on May 19, 2020. He was born on August 23, 1953 in Putnam, CT, the son of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Kamuda) Easton. Mark is survived by his son, Matthew Easton and daughter, Christina (Easton) Rameaka, her husband Nathan Rameaka, and one grandchild, Elizabeth Rameaka. Mark is also survived by his former wife JoAnn (Darling) Easton.
Mark will be missed and was greatly loved by his sister Gail (Easton) Pearl and her husband Chris Pearl, his brother Barry Easton and his wife Wendy (Larson) Easton, and two nieces: Christina (Pearl) DeMao, Stephanie Easton, and a nephew, Jacob Easton as well as several great nieces and a great nephew.
Mark was a local musical legend in the tri-state area and most notably in eastern Connecticut. He was a prolific song writer and lyricist as well as a talented guitarist and devoted friend. His collaboration on musical projects made him popular among fans of all ages and loved and respected by other musical artists.
He will be missed by his family and friends for all time. A private memorial service will be held by the family and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
