Marjorie A. (Cronsell) Klein

Marjorie A. (Cronsell) Klein, 91, of Vernon, CT passed away on November 19, 2023. She was born in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Ragner and Nellie (DuBois) Cronsell.

Marjorie graduated from Wethersfield High School, Class of 1950. In 1956, she married her husband, John Klein. She resided in Coventry, CT for 41 years and Ashford, CT for 22 years before moving to Vernon to live with her daughter. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and the American Legion Aux. of Coventry.

She is survived by her daughter Dawn Klein of Vernon, CT, Sharon DeLuca of New Port Richey, FL, two grandsons and one granddaughter, one great grandson, brother Ronald Cronsell and his wife Carole of Tolland, CT, and nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, John Klein in 1985, her longtime companion Appleton “Hap” Barrows, sisters Alice Cronsell and Janet Pardee, and brother Robert Cronsell.

There are no calling hours. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 11:00am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 10 N. River Rd. Coventry, CT 06238 with her burial following at New Coventry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
