Margaret "Marge" (Drag) Soloway

Margaret “Marge” Soloway, went to be with the Lord, on November 27, 2022.  Marge was born in Frackville, PA on October 27, 1922 to Peter and Sophie Drag. For many years she worked and retired from the Philco-Ford Plant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon retirement, Marge and Alfred, her husband, moved to the Evangelical Baptist Camp (now known as the Evangelical Christian Center) to help in the development of the center and to assist in various outreaches, including conferences, retreats and the summer camping program.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Soloway and all her siblings: Daniel, Edward, John, Joseph and Michael Drag (brothers); Anna Deizck and Pauline Lushinsky (sisters). She is survived by her nieces, Ruth Alsdorf (PA), Beverly Amadeo (CT), Paula Kuzichev (CA), Lynn Soliwocki (CT), Beth Ann Soloway (PA); and a nephew, William Soloway (PA).

The viewing and celebration service will be held at the Evangelical Christian Center, 574 Ashford Center Road, Ashford, CT 06278, on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am (viewing) and 11:00am to 12:00pm (celebration service).  Following a brief interment service at the Woodward Cemetery in Ashford, Connecticut, there will be time of fellowship at the Evangelical Baptist Home, where Marge was a resident.
