Linda Roberta (Drake) Reilly

Linda R. Reilly, age 72, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2021, at Woodlake At Tolland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born September 15, 1948, to Robert and Margaret Drake.

She is survived by her daughter Shane Reilly and husband Brian Allison; son Trevor Reilly; brother Dickie Drake; aunt Connie Hrenuk; granddaughter Aubrey Reilly; grandsons Dylan Howlett and Theodore Allison; nieces Tristyn Warren, Shaelyn Urbanowski, Rebecca Drake, Hannah Drake and Gina Coonan; nephews Frederic Bovino, Mark Gordon, Scott Gordon and Mario Martellini as well as several beloved cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Vinny Reilly; brothers Bobby Drake and Roddy Gordon; sisters Moggie Martellini and Joyce Shivers; niece Bruna Martellini; and nephews Roddy Gordon and Eric Gordon.

Linda enjoyed talking on the phone to all her friends and family.  She also loved looking at Facebook on her iPad and playing music on her Facebook portal.  She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and belonged to a fan club through Facebook.  Linda appreciated video calls where she could see and talk to her beloved dog Pebbles and meet her new grandson.  Linda liked her candy stash and her watermelon, farm fresh tomatoes and peaches.  Linda was known at the nursing home for her variety of designer perfumes.  She was sure to play her music loud for all the nurses to hear during their shift.  She was a great friend and was always willing to listen to anyone and give advice.  She was full of life and enjoyed the simple things.  Linda had a heart of gold and will truly be missed.

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends on Sunday, October 3, 2021 between the hours of 12pm and 4pm at 24 Meadow Lane in Willington with a rain date of Saturday October 9, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, Help Fight RA at  https://www.helpfightra.org/donations/.
