Linda M. Legere

Linda M. Legere, 64, of Willimantic passed away on August 20, 2023 at Douglas Manor.  She was born March 5, 1959, the daughter of late Robert and Doris (Bernard) Legere.  Linda loved gardening, playing cards, visiting with friends, and taking walks.
 

She is survived by her sister Carol Ives of Willimantic, CT and her son, George Ives Jr, wife Leslie and children Landon, Ethan and Gavin of South Windsor, CT; daughter Carolyn Calderon and husband
Michael and children Joshua and Nicholas of South Windsor, CT;
brother Richard Legere and wife Donna of Franklin, CT and their daughters, Stacey Ryan and children Nicholas and Brianna of Plainfield, CT. Their daughter Jessica Legere of Dayville, CT; brother Roland Legere and wife Kathy of North Windham, CT and their daughters, Sarah White and husband Andy and children Kylie, Emma and Olivia of Chaplin, CT. Their daughter Megan Legere of North Windham, CT.
 

She is predeceased by her brother in-law George Ives Sr.
 

Linda’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic.  A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 11:00am, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
