Kyle Thomas Flynn

Kyle Thomas Flynn, 49, of Mansfield, CT, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Windham Hospital.  He was born June 27, 1971 in Manchester, CT, the son of Linda (Henry) McComber and the late Thomas J. Flynn.  Kyle was a graduate of E.O. Smith and worked for many years as a Skilled Maintainer at the University of Connecticut.  He was an avid reader and had a green thumb when it came to his plants.  Kyle loved to hike, swim at Diana’s Pool and host bonfires for family and friends.  He was proud of his family and their many accomplishments, particularly his brother’s success as a NY musician.  In his younger years, Kyle toured the United States following the Grateful Dead.  He loved a good celebration.  Kyle will be remembered for his infectious laughter, sense of humor and his hilarious attempts at dancing.  Kyle will be missed by his many family members and friends.  Kyle is survived by his loving son Devon (Sheyanne) and grandson, Jameson; daughter Susan (Mike), granddaughter, Zori; brother Joshua (Cate); niece Serafina, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He also leaves his best friend, Laura and his two cats, Felix and Peanut; and stepfather Mark.  There are no calling hours.  A Celebration of Kyle’s life will be held at a later date.
