Kevin John Natusch, 58, of Storrs, CT, passed away at home on June 9, 2019 after a long illness. Born in Waterbury to Milton Herman and Henrietta (TerVeen) Natusch, Kevin grew up in Oxford and attended the local public schools, including Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury, where he was involved in the Future Farmers of America (FFA).  Kevin started the FFA Milkshake stand in the Connecticut Building at the Big E Fair. Upon graduation from high school, Kevin started his mobile food concession business, The Munch Box, where he sold various fried foods such as tempura veggie platters, onion rings, onion blooms, fried mozzarella, curly fries, and hand-cut ribbon chips. Kevin could be found at local fairs, festivals and craft fairs from April through October. He was quite the entrepreneur, always thinking up new business ideas or products. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid gardener even received a two-year certificate from UConn in horticulture. Point to any plant or tree and Kevin could tell you the scientific name and what were the perfect conditions for its growth. He had a great sense of humor, always a jokester with a mischievous, endearing smile that made you always wonder what he was thinking. He is survived by his son, Cameron Natusch, of Watertown; his mother Henrietta, of Ft. Pierce, FL, and his two brothers, Milton (Patricia) Natusch, of Mansfield Center, and Roger (Cindy) Natusch of Bethlehem. He was predeceased by his father Herman, his step-father, Joseph Cenicola, of Ft. Pierce, FL, and his sister, Sharon Detlefson, of Southbury. There will be no calling hours. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. To leave an online condolence, visit www.potterfuneralhome.com
