With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Jullian Raul Parrilla on May 30, 2022. He was born in Willimantic, CT on September 18, 1997 to Erin Collins and Eduardo (Chang) Parrilla.
Jullian enjoyed an active life, spending his youth and brief adulthood playing many sports including soccer, baseball, softball, and basketball. Though he loved sports, he loved the friendships and community that grew out of these activities most of all. Jullian was shaped by his grandmother who raised him, Susan Collins, his parents, his friends, and most importantly, the love he shared with his brothers, Kayden Parrilla and Chase Collins. His brothers and his friends, who he called his family, were his source of joy.
He is survived by his parents; his brothers; his grandmother; his grandfather, Edward Collins, Jr.; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
We take comfort in knowing that Jullian is now resting in peace with his grandparents, Raul and Ana (Nana) Parrilla, his uncle, Ralph Parrilla and his younger brother Elias Gabriel Parrilla.
Jullian’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226. His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 9:00am at Saint Joseph’s Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226.
