Judith A. (Williams) Fowler, lost her courageous battle with breast cancer on September 17, 2021 at Windham Hospital with her husband by her side. She was born on June 26, 1941 in Danforth, Maine, daughter of Alton and Reecyl (McDill) Williams.
Judith is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert I. Fowler of Columbia, daughters; Dianne K. Fowler of Columbia, Laurie A. Fitzgerald and her husband James of East Hartford, son Robert A. Fowler of Uncasville, granddaughter Emily K. Fitzgerald and her husband Devin McDermott of Marlborough, and two great grandchildren; Connor and baby McDermott of Marlborough. She is also survived by sisters; Patricia Sullivan and husband Edward of Houlton, Maine, Mary Ballanger and husband Gary of Bancroft, Maine, brothers; Robert Williams of Weston, Maine, Roger Williams and wife Sharon of South Carolina, Harold Williams of Weston, Maine, Kenneth Williams and wife Sherry of Lincoln, Maine, William Williams and wife Paula of Weston, Maine, uncle John Drew of Bangor, Maine as well as cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Judith was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She always put her family first, making sure that everyone was taken care of. The family would like to thank Sandy and Ron Tasker, Carol and Roland Lang, for their love, friendship and support. Thank you to her doctors at Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute and the staff at Windham Hospital for giving her such excellent care. A graveside service will be held in Maine at a later date.
