My condolence to the Trudeau family. I remember Joe because my sister Irene and brother in law Ernie Brousseau spoke of him often. I was in my teens when they took me to Waterford to watch him race. May he RIP

Thinking of you all during this sad time. I will never forget those nights as a kid at the Speedbowl cheering for the 271. Nor will I forget listening to Joe, Ray and my Dad tell stories in the first turn. Great memories of great men during a great time. I am saddened by his passing but greatfull to have been influenced and inspired by him.

Our deepest Sympathy to Aunt Rita, Joey, Tammy, and Tracy. Uncle Joe was an amazing caring, helpful and loving Uncle and Brother -when I needed help with my Father, He and Aunt Rita always helped me out with advice and brought my Father George to Doctor appointments and out grocery shopping especially when I could not! I am Forever Greatlful for that!!!! My fondest memory of Uncle Joe was when growing up in Chaplin my Cousins and I would get together At Uncle Joes and Aunt Ritas House. Uncle Joe would be working in the garage on a car, he would bring out some old racing tires so us kids could climb into and roll down the big hill. It was an amazing fun time! So to this day you can say I have some of his genetics in me. I love to watch Nascar Racing and go to the Races! Uncle Joe Rest in Peace you will be greatly missed!! Love always your Niece Sheryl

If you were lucky enough to know and spend time with Uncle Joe - you were lucky enough. I loved how he never hid himself as so many people do today. He was genuine in everything he did and I'm thankful for my aunt and uncle allowing us to have so many wonderful memories of being with them. All the love and condolences to my cousins and especially Aunt Rita. RIP Uncle I'm going to miss you.

Aunt Rita, Joe, Tammy, Craig, Tracy & Bill. My condolences for the loss of your husband, dad and father-in-law. It is heartbreaking to have to say goodbye for now but Uncle Joe has left us all with such great memories. He had an infectious smile and a twinkle in his eyes. I will never forget all the times we have spent together from childhood to adulthood. We were always welcomed in your home from cookouts, to swimming, sledding, game playing and sleepovers and of course Tony's pizzas (no we won't forget the grated cheese). I found out you had a love for cheesecakes and at the end of the day you would say you can come back anytime but don't forget to bring a cheesecake. So many funny stories we could tell but on the serious side if anyone was in need you would be there to lend a hand. I will always thing of you as the Jack of all trades. I am proud to call you my Uncle and I am going to miss you so very much.

Our deepest condolences to all of the Trudeau family, Rita, Joey ,Chris ,Tracy ,Bill ,Tammy , and Craig . We are so sorry for your loss, Time heals but he is someone you will never forget . Most of us are considered ordinary people, to me Joe was not, he was special. He could make laugh, and he could make you cry. He had two passions in life, in my eyes. Number one was family, and number two Naturally was racing . He would do anything for his wife and kids or really anybody that’s how nice a guy he was. I will always miss our garage talks, And that cold beer. Rest in peace my friend I love you . You were the man in 1971, modify champion, Waterford speedball .
