September 20, 1975 ~ February 4, 2020 (age 44) 44 Years Old

John Seretny Jr. Obituary

John T. Seretny Jr., 44, of Scotland, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Hartford Hospital.  He was born in Willimantic, CT and graduated from E.O. Smith High School.  After high school, John went onto Baran Institute to be an HVAC technician, with a S2 license.  He loved baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox, hockey, golf and motorcycles. His pride and joy in life was his daughter Juliana (Ducky).  John is survived by his father John Seretny Sr., mother Robin (Vicente) Rossetti and his step-father Ricardo Rossetti; daughter, Juliana Lyn Seretny; three sisters, Melissa Charter and her husband Mike, Tara Rossetti and Crystal Rossetti;  brother Christopher Rossetti, and his best buddy, Tommy Sinkewicz, who was like a brother; maternal grandmother, Mildred Vicente and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many nephews. 

John leaves behind many friends, and was loved by all. He was a kind loving soul, who will be deeply missed.  There are no calling hours.  His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1:00pm at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic.  A Celebration of Life/Reception will follow from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Manchester Country Club, 305 South Main St., Manchester, CT.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
