Jeremy Robert Roche, Sr.

Jeremy Robert Roche, Sr., 51, of Mansfield, CT, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was born in Norwich, CT on February 21, 1971, son of the late Robert and Jean (Kilton) Roche.

Jeremy grew up in Mansfield and attended E.O. Smith High School. He was a jack-of-all trades and ran his own business in construction and handyman work. Jeremy was a very simple man who loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed sharing his love of hunting and fishing with his two sons, step-grandchildren, as well as many friends. 

He is survived by his two beloved sons Jeremy, Jr. and Luke Roche of Bunnlevel, NC; his siblings Darlene Roche of Indian Lake, NY, Cheryl Bernier of Putnam, CT, Scott Roche of Jonesport, ME, and Kimberly Taylor of Avon, CT; his life-long companion and mother of his children, Ann Scafidi of Mansfield Center, CT; his step-daughters Melissa Santos, Amy Janofsky, Stephanie Scafidi, Bethany Scafidi, and Gabrielle Scafidi all of Mansfield, CT; his many step-grandchildren that he adored; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. 

Jeremy’s family will welcome relatives and friends from 4:00pm to 5:30pm on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT, followed by prayer and sharing of memories at 5:30pm.
