She was born in Willimantic, CT, daughter of the late Solomon and Nellie Haddad, Gerry worked in her parents’ restaurant, The Luncheonette, and was a graduate of the University of Connecticut. In 1954, Gerry married the love of her life, Richard, and together they built their beautiful home in Andover, CT, and raised their family.

Gerry was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She dedicated many years of her life as the bookkeeper for the first Congregational Church in Andover, where her record keeping was impeccable. She loved music, her organ, and dancing. She and her sisters were the life and entertainment of every wedding and party. Gerry had a sense of humor that was sure to make you smile, and inner strength and faith that was sure to inspire you.
