Frances "Frannie" M. Bourey-Szumkowski

Frances M. Bourey-Szumkowski, 64, of North Windham, CT passed away on May 2, 2023. She was born in Willimantic, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Ellen Bourey.

Frannie had a passion and love for her job at Camp Horizons. She loved the ocean and traveling to new and favorite places. She loved to crochet as she was sitting in her rocker watching birds. And no matter where we went, she had to drive.

Frances is survived by her long-time partner, Alan Szumkowski, children Jennifer Bozio and Jacob Harper. Her grandchildren, James Bozio, and Shawn Bozio. Her brother Mark and Roberta Bourey of Andover, her brother Micheal and Patty Bourey of Lebanon, TN, and multiple nieces and nephews, life-long friend Dora Miller. She is predeceased by her Brother Robert Bourey. She had an immeasurable amount of love and devotion to her family and friends.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic.
