Felix John Szepanski

Felix John Szepanski, 80, of Chaplin, CT passed away on November 13, 2023. He was born in Windsor Locks, CT, the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Barth) Szepanski.

He was an avid hunter, a good cook, a great gardener and a breeder of American Eskimos. Felix retired from Veeder Root in Hartford as a manufacturing supervisor after 26 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharon (DeJoseph) Szepanski, children David Szepanski, Elaine Suchoski and her husband John, Felix Szepanski, Jr., Tammy Colon and her husband Robert Torres, Otto Romann and his wife Heather, and Gerald Szepanski, 19 grandchildren David Szepanski, Jr., Kenneth Hesselman, Miranda Szepanski, Saul Williams and his wife Ashley, Henry Williams and his wife Chelsea, Falon Stanley and her husband Joshua, Julie Bacon, Todd Bacon, Desmond Szepanski, Marc Romann, Ellissa Colon, Angelina Colon, Antonio Colon, Mariah Romann and her husband Joshua, Otto Romann, Jr., Sarah Jaquith, Adam Jaquith, Rylee Sutherland, and Levi Szepanski, 39 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and his in-laws Geraldine Szepanski, brother in law John DeJoseph and his wife Joanne, Kathy Tilley and Pete, Ronald DeJoseph and Debbie, Tim Totzeck and Pamela Spofford, Elizabeth Satoro and Robert, William Johnson and Kim. He was predeceased by his brothers Gerald and William Szepanski and brother-in-law Daniel DeJoseph.

Felix’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. His graveside service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eastford Veterinary Clinic, 17 Pomfret Rd. Eastford, CT 06242.
