Ethel L Adams, 94, of Willimantic, CT, passed away on January 10, 2021, while residing at the Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 13, 1926 in Willimantic, CT. She married her sweetheart, Ken Adams, on June 20, 1943. Most of her life was lived in Connecticut. In 1974, she moved to Lisbon, NH but returned after 12 years to the Willimantic area in 1986, where she resided for 34 years. Some of her many hobbies were cake decorating, reupholstering furniture, sewing, painting woodcrafts, and decorating her homes. She is predeceased by her husband Kenneth Adams and eldest daughter Kay DeMarchi. She is survived by her son, Wayne Adams, of Lebanon, CT; daughter Linda Whitcomb (Louis) of Rumney, NH; daughter Doreen Cheney (Rodney) of Lebanon, CT; and son-in-law Joseph DeMarchi of South Windham, CT. She has ten grandchildren: Curt Adams (Diane) of Lebanon, CT; Kimberly Abell (James) of Lebanon, CT; Cherilyn Spatola (Gary Andreski) of Lebanon, CT; Laureen Smith (Steven) of Bradford, RI; Josie DeMarchi (Nate Rosiek) of Wethersfield, CT; Laura Stille (Brandon) of Naples, ID; Lisa Dwyer (Ernie) of Rutland, VT; Leslie Nesbitt (Jason) of Meredith, NH; Stephanie Tuohy (Timothy) of Coventry, CT; Stacey Croutch (Cameron) of Coventry, CT. She has seventeen great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church renovation fund. Ethel's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 9:15am to 10:15am at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic, burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
