Donald N, Lizee

Donald N. Lizee, 87, of Mansfield, CT,  passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born August 19, 1933 to the late Armand J. and Bebiane (Dupre) Lizee.

He was employed at Kamatics in Bloomfield for over 40 years as a System Analyst. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Donald was also involved with St. Mary’s Church engraving plaques. There were many other hobbies he was interested in including engraving, computers, woodworking, and ham radio. Donald was very proud to serve his country in the United States Navy.

Don is survived by his wife Patricia (Brunell) Lizee of 36 years; two sons, Christopher and Jonathan Lizee; two step-children Lori and John Abell; several grandchildren; a great grandchild; three brothers Raymond, Rene, and Norman Lizee; two sisters Rejeanne Chanski and Doris Loadwick; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Roger, Gerald, and Richard Lizee.

His wife and family would like to thank Groton Regency in Groton, CT and Harrington Court in Colchester, CT for the excellent care and compassion that was given to Donald during his illness.
