Constance Olson

Connie Olson, 76, of Mansfield Center, passed away on May 4, 2019 at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Willimantic to the late Charles and Agnes (Olsen) Olson.

Connie graduated from Windham High School in 1960 and was married to Robert Prince for 22 years. She retired from the UConn Facilities payroll in 2003.

Connie’s family always came first, especially her granddaughters who were the “apples of her eye”. She had a constant zest for life with a contagious laugh that would light up a room, and she would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Connie and Rene, her significant other of over 30 years, loved to discover new places on many travel adventures and had a passion for entertaining family and friends. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Thomas Prince-Warinsky of St. Augustine, FL, her granddaughters Brooke and Allie; brother Robert Olson and his wife Karen of Windham Center; nephews Jon and Chris Olson, as well as a large, extended, loving family and many dear friends.

Because Connie always loved a good time, we will be celebrating her life on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 96 Oak St., Willimantic, CT 06226 at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
