Beverly M. Parrotte, (87) of Wallingford, and longtime resident of Ashford, passed away peacefully on January 29 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Leslie. Born in Bakersfield, VT to Ralph and Eunice Pelkey Beverly grew up on a farm and shared many memories of gathering maple syrup, farming and enjoying the outdoors with her seven brothers and sisters. She is predeceased by her siblings: Eleanor, Ralph Jr, Betty, Laura, Wayne and Shirley and is survived by her sister Iris. Beverly worked for 25 years as a master packer on C shift at Anchor Glass and was active in the Chaplin and Coventry Senior Centers. She loved bowling, dancing, bingo, getting ice cream at the Ashford Dari Bar, and going to the casino. She was predeceased by three infant children: Maryann, Ralph, and William. She survived by her daughter and son-in-law Ann and Bryant Evans, of Windham. Her
daughter Jane Evans of South Carolina. Her granddaughter and grandson in law, Kristy and Jason Belejack of Wallingford. Her grandson Matthew Evans of South Carolina. Her granddaughter and grandson in law, Laura and Zachary Wood of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Melissa Evans. In her final years her great grandchildren, Tony, Carter and Liam Belejack, Camden Wood and another sweet grandbaby on the way, brought her so much joy. She loved watching them compete in their sports, playing cards with them and sharing stories about her childhood. She also leaves behind her dear friend of many years Lois Molnar.
