Alessandro A. Jones-Fiore

Alessandro A. Jones Fiore, 20, of South Windham, CT passed away on May 1, 2022. He was born in Hartford, CT on November 19, 2001, the son of Mario Fiore and Unita Jones. He attended Windham High School in Willimantic, CT, and would later go on to take online college courses. Alessandro also known as “AL” worked as a landscaper during the summer and did snow removal in the winter.

He enjoyed art and music from an early age where he sang in the St. Mary’s Church Choir; and played piano in his spare time. He was known to help those less fortunate by donating food to those in need; and volunteering for Windham Area Faith Ministry where his father work as a Driver.

He is survived by his sisters Elvira Labreque Fiore and her husband Danny Labreque of Waterford CT, Patrizia Fiore of Bradford CT, Cietarya Jones of Vermont, Skyela Jones of Manchester CT; his younger siblings Alanna Fiore, his younger brother Logan Fiore and baby sister Zara Fiore. He also leaves his aunts Inez Rolon of Windham, Bernice Fernandez and her husband Luis Fernandez of Windham, Pierlette Jones of Manchester, and Anna Gibb, his uncles Mickey Jones, Andres Jones, and Antwan Jones along with his extensive family in Italy, New York, and CT, which includes many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He will be missed by his many close friends whom send their deepest sympathies. Please forgive us for any of those not mentioned he had so many people that he cared for and cared for him.

He was predeceased by his his maternal grandmother Henrietta Jones, grandfather Andres Ortiz-Santiago, paternal grandmother-grandfather Elvira and Sebastiano Fiore of Cosenza, Italy and brother Andrew Fiore, he was also recently predeceased by his godfather Benjamin Ancona of Coventry, CT.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church, 46 Valley St., Willimantic with his burial to follow at New Willimantic Cemetery, Willimantic.
