Aina Sadeski

  Aina Sadeski, 81 of Mansfield Center, died on October 12, 2018. Born in Latvia, she was the daughter of Jacob and Bertha (Goulis) Bivins, and wife of the late Edward Sadeski.   She worked at the American Thread, Roselin Ribbon Manufacturing Company followed by Big Y, retiring at the age of 72.  Aina enjoyed walking, reading and crocheting. She would often give away the blankets she made as gifts.  Aina had three children with her husband Edward; the eldest, Tina Sadeski, the second child and only son, Stanley and the youngest, Sandra. She was also an involved grandmother to Heather and April Sherman. Aina became a great-grandmother to MacKenzie and Joseph Sherman, in addition, she was a beloved aunt and cousin to many including Dawne Bonneksen.  The family will receive relatives and friends, October 26, 2018, at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. in Willimantic (Rte. 195), from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, 14 Club Road in Windham.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of one's choice.
